Are you limiting God with your thoughts and beliefs. Proverbs 23v7 tells us that as a man thinks in his heart, so he is.
That what dominates our thoughts will affect our beliefs and that will limit what God can do in our lives. If we focus on what parents say, the news on radio and TV and look what is happening in other peoples lives we can so easily compare ourselves and our lives with them. 2 Corinthians 10v12 says that comparing ourselves among ourselves is not good. The news might tell us that there is a recession. Do we buy into that or do we look at God’s Word that says “But my God shall supply all my needs….” (Phil 4v19)?
The cares of the world distracts, fear of man and the unknown can all be overcome by the Word of God. God wants us to succeed, not because of who we are but because of who He is. We need to see ourselves as God sees us, take the limits off and see God’s will in your life come to pass.
