The Message Changes Everything (Transcript)

It’s your spirit that was changed
when you got born again,
It was created in righteousness and true holiness,
and then according to Ephesians 1:13
you were immediately sealed by the Holy Spirit, vacuum packed.
The Holy Spirit has encased your perfect, born again spirit.
If you are committed to God and following God, I’m telling you,
You are a success if you are being sold into slavery.
You’re a success if you’ve been lied about and put in prison.
God is pleased with you.
God loves you.
He’s more pleased with you than what any of us know.
It was like I had no reason any more; to be sick, to have pain, to… be fearful.
From dark to daylight, my life has changed very, very much, I found my God
It has changed our life completely, in everything
I thought that I was not good enough, that God could not forgive me everything that I’ve done in my life, but then I came into the teaching of Andrew Wommack, and I saw it on YouTube, on a… on a… one series about the true nature of God, and it changed my life forever.
And I just want to thank uh, Andrew Wommack for all what he has… preaching and uh… what a blessing to the whole world.

The Word of God is our authority. It reveals to us His character, His nature. It tells us of the good plans He has for our lives (Jeremiah 29v11) and how to fulfil these plans. But how can we receive the direction and walk in the plan God intended for us if we do not know the Word?

God’s word never changes nor will His good will towards us. He will never force His word or His will on anyone. We must choose if we want to live the life that the Word describes. We must choose to be teachable.

As we make that decision to be teachable the Word tells us that we are not on our own. In John 14 v 26-27 Jesus says “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.”.

The Holy Spirit will point us to Jesus so that we can see God for who He truly is. He is a Father who loves us, who has given everything that we might know Him and experience His goodness. The Holy Spirit is our helper, counsellor and guide. He will teach us who we are and help us fulfil God’s plan in our lives.

When casually reading certain passages in the bible you might think that there are an angry God and a loving God. In one scripture, in the Old Testament, we see God command a man to be stoned to death for picking up sticks on the Sabbath day and in another, in the New Testament, He forgives and does not condemn a woman caught in adultery – an act, which by law, would have the woman stoned to death.

God’s nature is not judgement. He does judge, but he is just and holy. In the Old Testament God had to deal with mankind in a different manner.

So what was God doing in the old Testament? Romans 5:13 says “For until the law sin was in the world: but sin was not imputed when there was no law.” The law refers to the Mosaic law and includes the Ten Commandments and all other ordinances. “Impute” means to take what you have done and apply it to your account, or hold your sins against you. This means that, before the Law, sin was not being held against people. Because there was no Law or rules and regulations, people could do anything and there was no consequences for what they did. God just loved them and did not want them to know how bad they really were. Mankind became so bad that God had to do something drastic. That is when the Law was established. The purpose of the law was to show people how bad they were. The law brought condemnation and gave strength to sin. The law, the old covenant, couldn’t make anything perfect. Only Jesus as perfect man could fulfil the law and He did for us.

Are you trying and striving to love God with all your heart, and find you are failing?

1 John 4:19 says we love Him because he fist loved us.

This verse we need to read the last part first “He first loved us”. That means while we were still sinners, before we could even do anything “good” God loved us. No matter what we have done God loves us just the way we are. His love for us is not based on what we can do for Him, but on what Christ has done for us. We cannot do anything to make him love us more. He already loves us, He demonstrated His love by allowing Jesus to die on the cross for us.

We don’t have to try and get Him to love us because He already loves us. When we know that we are already loved then we are able to love Him with the love He has given us. We simply take hold of His love right now, by faith.

If you have been trying and striving to love God, repent and just believe. He loves you! As you do this your love for Him will grow and so will your faith as faith always works by love.
